Awesome Autumn Fun!

We’ve got some great Halloween themed activities to keep the kids entertained during the October holidays!

Monday 14^th October 12.00 – 3.00pm

Create your very own mini tattie-bogle (scarecrow)…perfect to pop in the garden this Autumn.  Best tattie bogle of the day wins a goodie bag from B & M.

 

Tuesday 15^th October 12.00 – 3.00pm

Create your very own leafy lantern…..using natural crafts from the environment the children will get the create a lovely lantern made up of leaves and sticks from nature.  Spot prizes will be given away throughout the day all from The Works.

 

Wednesday 16^th October 12.00 – 3.00pm

Create your very own harvest hamper….using lovely sensory weaving techniques, children will be able to weave their own basket complete with free fruit and treats from Home Bargains.

 

Thursday 17^th October 12.00 – 3.00pm

Create your very own opulent owl….children will be able to create a lovely wooden owl ornament to display in their home this Autumn.  Lots of fun crafts to bring the wise one to life.  Best of the day wins an owl themed goodie bag from Primark.

 

Friday 18^th October 12.00 – 3.00pm

Create your very own woodland windchime…children will get a chance to create a lovely soothing windchime using lots of natural woodland crafts.  Everyone who can play a tune on their windchime will pick up an Autumn party pack with goodies from Poundland.

 

Saturday 19^th October 12.00 – 3.00pm

Wizard Day….families can enjoy our lovely Wizardly Experience with owls and handlers straight from our favourite story books.  2 dressed characters and a selection of owls (6 on rotation) will be on hand to tell customers all about the lives and habits of these Autumnal creatures.  Customers can hold and get their photo taken with the owls.  Feather crafts will run alongside the experience with some of the feathers from the owls on display.  One customer will be chosen by one of the owls during the day to win tickets for Omniplex to see a twilight movie (2 tickets).

 

The Pumpkin Patch

Saturday 26^th October 12.00 – 3.00pm

Jack Pumpkin (pumpkin mascot) will be making an appearance in centre and wandering around meeting & greeting shoppers with some sweet treats (not a scary pumpkin…nice and friendly and gives soft hugs).  In addition to the roaming mascot activity, the pumpkin patch will be open for shoppers to visit and select a free ceramic pumpkin or pumpkin fairy door to decorate and take home.  The ceramic munchkin pumpkins are tealight holders and will look amazing on the doorstep this Halloween to welcome treat or treaters.  Lots of great fun glitter pens, paint pens, spider decorations and much more to decorate with.  A free battery tealight will also be included to illuminate the pumpkin and take home.  The pumpkin fairy doors are a great way to welcome delightful spirits to your home this Halloween and give children an opportunity to let their imagination run wickedly wild.  Jack Pumpkin will have lots of fun Halloween spot prizes to giveaway on his journey through the centre.  All prizes will be from One Beyond.
