
Clyde Shopping Centre World Cup Charity Challenge 2026
48 Teams. One Community. One Big Result.
From 8th June, Clyde Shopping Centre will be celebrating the World Cup with a fun, centre-wide charity competition in partnership with West Dunbartonshire Community Foodshare.
48 stores across the centre have each been randomly assigned a World Cup nation and will be proudly supporting their team throughout the tournament with themed displays, decorations and plenty of friendly competition along the way.
Now it’s your turn to get involved!
How to Take Part
Entering is simple:
👉 Complete our online entry form and choose one of the 48 World Cup teams from the list.
At the end of the tournament, the management team at Clyde Shopping Centre will randomly select one of the 48 nations.
All customer entries linked to that team will then go into a prize draw to win some fantastic prizes.
Important:
This competition is not based on the actual winner of the World Cup.
The winning nation will be selected completely at random at the end of the campaign, giving everyone an equal chance to win.

Optional Donations to Support Foodshare
While donations are completely optional, we would greatly appreciate any support for West Dunbartonshire Community Foodshare, who provide vital support to local individuals and families experiencing poverty and food insecurity across West Dunbartonshire.
Shoppers can support the charity by:

- Making an online donation

- Nappies (sizes 5 & 6)

Customers can simply choose one of the 48 teams via the online entry form for the chance to win some great prizes, while also having the opportunity to support Foodshare through optional food or monetary donations.
Foodshare has been operating for 13 years, providing vital support to individuals and families affected by poverty and food insecurity. In 2025 alone, we delivered an incredible 24,475 food parcels across West Dunbartonshire.

Customer Competition Terms & Conditions
- The promoter is Clyde Shopping Centre, 170 Kilbowie Road, Clydebank, G81 2UA (“the Promoter”).
- Employees of Clyde Shopping Centre, their immediate family members, agents, suppliers, or anyone professionally connected with the administration of the competition are not eligible to enter.
- There is no entry fee and no purchase is necessary to enter this competition.
- The competition opens on 8th June 2026 and closes at 11:59pm on 20th July 2026. Entries received after this date and time will not be included in the draw.
- Customers may enter either:
- Online via the official competition entry form; or
- By completing an official paper entry form and submitting it to the Customer Services Desk at Clyde Shopping Centre.
- To enter, customers must provide their name, email address, telephone number and select one of the 48 World Cup nations listed on the entry form.
- Optional donations may be made to West Dunbartonshire Community Foodshare either online or by donating food items at the designated collection point within Clyde Shopping Centre. Donations are welcomed and appreciated but are not required to enter the competition.
- This competition is not based on predicting the winner of the FIFA World Cup. At the conclusion of the competition, Clyde Shopping Centre Management will randomly select one of the 48 nations included in the competition.
- All valid entries that selected the randomly chosen nation will be entered into the final prize draw.
- Three winners will be selected at random from the qualifying entries and will receive the following prizes:
- First prize: £100 shopping voucher
- Second prize: £50 shopping voucher
- Third prize: £20 shopping voucher
- The first name drawn will receive the £100 shopping voucher, the second name drawn will receive the £50 shopping voucher, and the third name drawn will receive the £20 shopping voucher.
- No cash alternative will be offered. Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equal or greater value without notice should circumstances require.
- Limit of one entry per person. Multiple entries from the same individual may be disqualified.
- The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete, illegible, corrupted or not successfully submitted for any reason.
- The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend or amend the competition and these terms and conditions where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
- Winners will be contacted using the details provided on their entry form. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 7 days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select an alternative winner.
- The Promoter will notify the winners when and where the prizes can be collected.
- The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters relating to the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- By entering this competition, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- Winners may be asked to participate in publicity relating to the competition, including photography, social media content and press coverage. Participation in publicity is voluntary.
- Personal data supplied during the course of this competition will be processed by Clyde Shopping Centre solely for the purposes of administering the competition and contacting winners, unless the entrant has separately agreed to receive marketing communications. Data will be processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation.
- Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
